We absolutely loved receiving these images from the uber talented photographer Sara Kauss of a recent Palm Beach engagement shoot. With so many recent styled engagement shoots {that we adore as well}, it was so nice to see natural gorgeous images of a couple enjoying the area they spent years living in, just smiling and strolling around. The now Atlanta based couple chose Palm Beach, as this is the area the bride grew up close to and they have endless memories of their love of the beach, year round sun, strolling through palm trees and the relaxed style of living. I think you will agree you can see it in the happy couple's images below.
I love these simple images of the couple strolling by the boats in Palm Beach. This image of Dana and Matt is a gorgeous, "Mr. & Mrs. Palm Beach" photo, we love it. The red dress selection adds a great pop in the photo that Dana selected! Beautiful!
Who says rain has to ruin the day? These photos below are absolutely my favorite! Taken on the beautiful Palm Beach street of Worth Avenue in the middle of an afternoon rain shower they turned out stunning.
I had to share Matt and Dana's engagement story with you! It certainly made me smile. What a great engagement! Matt brought Dana to the St. Regis Hotel in Buckhead for a cocktail after dinner. Dana had never been to the hotel before so Matt spoke with the hotel manager and he so graciously offered to show them some of the beautiful rooms. Why not! After taking a quick tour of the beautiful "show rooms" at the property the manager had to leave for an emergency at the front desk and told them to stay right there and he would be back. Matt continued showing Dana the space and talking about what a wonderful hotel it was for guests, etc. He then called her over to the tv in the showroom where he had arranged a video slideshow, featuring pictures of Dana and Matt, that he had put together with a close friend of his, sigh, adorable. At that point Dana was thinking he was up to something other then showing her the hotel! After the video he got down on one knee and proposed. In the moment he forgot to actually ask her to marry him and then stood up and came out with, “And ohh yes, will you marry me?!?”. Adorable! We love stories from nervous happy grooms. What Dana thought would be an evening dinner drink ended with a new chapter of their life!
