We've got the sweetest treat for you today - an adorably lovely and totally DIY wedding from Shea Christine Photography. There is SO much great inspiration here for those of you looking to infuse your day with fun, whimsical details without breaking the bank. The couple, along with their friends and family, did nearly everything themselves - with beautiful results!

The wooden ring box was inscribed with the phrase: "constant faith, abiding love". Jamie's mother made the lovely gown, using part of her own dress - isn't that amazing?

I can't get over the adorableness of the wedding party! These images are a strong case for letting the bridesmaids choose their own dresses, don't you think? The variety of looks, the casually lovely flowers, and the guys' funky patterned ties and suspenders - it's too perfect.

Jamie and Joey were married under a big tree in Dreher Park... the setting couldn't have been more lovely. (Who doesn't love a barefoot wedding party?)

The reception was held at the Boynton Woman's Club, a beautiful (and affordable!) historic space built by Addison Mizner in the 1920s. The wood floors and ceiling, with exposed beams, are gorgeous and there's a ton of space for large weddings.

Jamie and her mom used frames from a house they worked on in New Orleans during a mission to construct the "Just Wed" display hanging from the rafters. As they had 26 tables, letters stood in as the perfect table "numbers"; using nouns, quotes and adjectives starting with each letter ("P is for promise"), they displayed the seating chart on old shutters.

Personal and family photos were displayed throughout - I love that banner above the family photo table! The centerpieces were flower pots bought for $5 each, and vintage plates were put in dressers for display.

Looks like you had a really fun and unique wedding. I heard about it from Arlis Vanden Berg and she gave me this e-mail to view. I am a first cousin of Judy, Mary Lou and Betty Bylsma. My name is Helen and I was in the same class as Judy. I’m sure they know who I am. I work with Arlis in a kitchen in a nursing home. Amy is also my first cousin, of course. She seems to be very creative which doesn’t surprize me. Wish you all a wonderful life. See you some day!
