Rebecca and I have REALLY been looking forward to sharing this stunning venue with you! The Bath Club, located on the ocean in the northern part of Miami Beach, is a gorgeous and truly unique location.
The Bath Club was built in 1926, and while it's been restored and fitted with all the modern amenities of a world-class event space, the historic architecture and charming details remain. This really is a venue with it all: five stunning indoor spaces, a palm tree-lined courtyard, a pool deck, roof terrace, and the private beach. You can host an event here of any size, indoor or outdoor (or both!) and it will feel like the perfect fit. The way the rooms join each other, and the multiple entries to the outdoor areas, provide the perfect flow for a wedding that would spread out over the property.

One HUGE benefit of the space: all the furniture you see is included, and it's gorgeous.
I love all the options for a ceremony you can have here, which is often a limitation (or an afterthought) at other venues. You could have the ceremony outdoors and surrounded by the palms in the courtyard; barefoot in the sand on the beach; with a view of the city on the terrace, or surrounded by the warm woods and fireplace in the lounge.
The ballroom is a blank canvas, but still carries the charm: gorgeous wood doors, tall windows, cove ceiling and huge chandeliers. It seats 350 and has doors to both outside and the lounge.
I'm in love with the terrace - it's so Miami to me, with the view of the city, the pool, and some really cute architectural details.

This is so much nicer than your typical hotel ballroom. I love how there are adjacent rooms such as the pool table room. On their website, they said the boardroom could be used for a fun dessert bar which is a great idea. It could also be used for an area for the kiddies. You just need some round tables and chairs and fill them with activities such as coloring books and toys.
That courtyard would look beautiful with brown chiavari chairs and some string lights if you don’t like the look of their contempo furniture. But I wonder if the surrounding area outside of the courtyard gets too loud at night? It’s looks like a busy street is right behind that courtyard.
The simple ballroom appears to be that way on purpose – so that brides and grooms can decorate it however they please. But I think the brown doors with the little glass windows and the chandeliers completely clash. The doors are very deco/contemporary. And the chandeliers are antique/vintage looking. It just seems a bit odd.
Even if you have a church reception, you could still put the beach to use by having a bonfire on the sand or a juice/tropical drinks/smoothie bar. If this venue has an outdoor shower of some sort guests could even walk down the sandy beach and shallow water and then hose of their feet when they get back. You would, of course, have to provide plenty of hand towels/wash cloths so they can dry their feet off.
This is by far one of the most interesting and useful venues I’ve seen in Dade and Broward counties. West Palm / Boca has the nicest venues (even a gorgeous theater/opera house called The Harriet Himmel Theater) but they are a bit too far for most Miami brides.
