We're continuing on with our Winter Wedding Tabletop Challenge! This week, we'll be showing you how each of our challenge bloggers turned their inspiration boards into gorgeous, winter and holiday inspired tablescapes.
First up: The 'Wintry White' table created by Sarah of Chevrons & Stripes.
The Inspiration

Sarah: "When I think of Winter decor I think of shimmer and shine. I love a good colorful spread but my personal taste has always been more modern / neutral and I wanted to convey that in my tabletop through a mix of white, wood, gray, and silver metallics materials. I'm not much of a DIY-er so I shopped around for affordable items that I could assemble in an interesting way and reflect the look I was going for. "
"I wrapped two types of faux flowers around a piece of driftwood to create the center piece and stacked candles on top to cast a warm, glowy light on the otherwise stark white setting. I love that the placemat is clear so in real life, the pattern has the effect of being hand drawn right onto the table. I also think a good napkin fold is imperative - this diamond shape is so easy to create and adds an interesting and unexpected angle to the mix.
"For the final touch, I tossed a few light colored found beach stones around the centerpiece. In my everyday life, I own a jewelry line that amongst other things mixes beach stones with diamonds and other precious gems. I'm constantly inspired by these natural little gems. They can be used in so many different and unique settings and best of all, they're free! To tie it all together I wrapped the napkin with one of our beach stone necklaces. Of course the jeweler in me loves the idea of adding jewelry to spice up a tabletop!"
Isn't it absolutely gorgeous? I love the natural earthiness of the driftwood - and how well it goes with the stunning beach stone jewelry from Aroc Utru, a line that Sarah designs.
