To top it all off, when I contacted the gorgeous bride-to-be, Megan, I knew she was the perfect choice to be our next Real Bride... and she said yes! So, lucky us - we'll be seeing a lot more of Megan and Jeremy, and be in-the-know as they prepare for their wedding day in June.

Megan gave us the story on how they met:

"I am originally from Saint Louis, MO and just moved to South Florida in July 2010. Jeremy was born and raised in North Miami Beach, FL. Five years ago both Jeremy and I went on a cruise to Bermuda. He was traveling with his aunt and uncle as a high school graduation gift and I was also traveling with my aunt and uncle because I went to visit them for the summer. The cruise actually left out of Philly, PA not Miami. I was a last minute addition to the cruise buying my ticket only a week before and Jeremy's family was actually supposed to go on a cruise to Europe but they changed last minute.

"The cruise was a week long and was packed with hundreds of people. However, we met on the fourth night at a local pub on the island. He was there watching the Heat playoff game and I was with a group just having some drinks. From that night we never left each other's sides on the ship. Eventually we docked again back at the states and went our separate ways. Neither one of us thought we would see each other again, but later that night I got a phone call and it was him! We dated on and off for the next four years while we both finished college, visiting each other as much as possible. Then in July 2010 I made the big move not knowing how everything would work out, but we each wanted to give our relationship a fair run! It turned out to be the best decision of my life!"

When I asked about the engagement story, Megan sent us the cutest picture that Jeremy took of the proposal... I just had to share it!

"He proposed on February 19th, 2011. While I was in the shower and getting ready he set everything up. I walked out to our living room and saw him standing in between our two dogs who were dressed as a bride and groom with signs around their necks saying, 'will you marry me?'"

How adorable is that??

I'm obsessed with this picture. So creative, and so fun! I'd definitely be putting it on my 'must-have' photo list!

The bride-to-be also gave us some info on the wedding planning:

"We decided to do a casual nautical theme. The wedding is at St. Patrick Church, Miami Beach and the reception at the Ronald W. Shane Center. Since the Shane Center was on the water we really loved it. Plus, it has a very informal layout.

"Our colors are navy and red. The girls will be in navy dresses that I'm letting them pick and red heels. The boys will be in navy sports coats and red Dockers! I know sounds weird but it looks great! We plan to use as much nautical decoration as possible without over doing it. I'm making a lot of the decorations, like the seating cards which are little red and blue sailboats. Since I am not originally from the area, I was in the complete dark on my planning. My best friend was google! I spent hours and hours researching venues, planners and photographers. Lucky I got the best photographer out there!"
