Happy New Year, everyone! Becca and I are taking a little time today to refresh and regroup, and plan for the upcoming year... we hope 2011 was everything you hoped it would be, and that 2012 will be even better!
Our plans for 2012
We've got a ton of great ideas that we hope to put in motion for 2012 - here's a few of them:
Expanding and Enhancing the Venue Guide: We want to update the venue guide to make it more useful, by adding more great South Florida venues, making it searchable and sortable, and capturing more info about each venue.
Refining the Vendor Guide: We're always looking for more amazing vendors to recommend, of course, but we'll also be doing some streamlining. Over the past six months, we've been meeting and collaborating with many of our recommended pros and we want the guide to reflect our personal, first-hand knowledge of how amazing each and every one of them is.
Events & Networking Opportunities: We're excited to be brainstorming and planning some events in the new year - for fun, for education and also networking opportunities. Stay tuned for more details!
Wedding Inspiration: More creative ideas, DIY projects and inspiring content will be coming soon... we'll also be reorganizing a bit to make all our inspirational columns easier to find.

We're doing our best to make Floridian Weddings the go-to resource for modern, fresh and stylish wedding inspiration in South Florida - but we know we can't do it alone.
Vendors: We're on the hunt for wedding-related features of any kind - weddings, showers, engagements, trash-the dress sessions, you name it - as long as it's fabulous and in South Florida. We also want to feature more local products and services that our brides and grooms would love, so keep us in loop about your new offerings in the coming year.
Venues: We're making it our goal to feature more unique, amazing and 'hidden gem' venues this year. If you manage a wedding venue in South Florida, how about inviting us over for a looksee? If we think our readers will love it, we'll take a tour and feature it as part of our Venue Visits series.
