We have some charming loveliness coming to you today from Glen Saint Mary in Northern Florida. Lizzie and Harry filled their day with rustic, vintage goodness... and one seriously fun looking dance party! Thanks to the creative talents of Jennifer Sullivan and cinematographer (and husband) Derrek Sullivan, we have some gorgeous ways to share it with you. To really get a feel for how amazing this venue and area of Florida is, you won't want to miss the video!
As Jennifer says, "Lizzie and Harry were married in one of our favorite, rustic venues in Florida. The Glen Venue in Glen Saint Mary, Florida is a gorgeous location and the perfect setting for Lizzie and Harry to celebrate their big day with friends and family. We always enjoy being a part of the excitement of a bride and groom on their wedding day. And I think it's safe to say that we have yet to see a couple more excited than these two. We couldn't help but smile throughout the whole day because Lizzie and Harry were both radiating with love and joy. Anyone who meets this couple would agree that they're a perfectly matched pair. We loved the couple's style and their vintage detailing they chose for their wedding. Plus, their whole wedding party had some serious dance moves!"
(Check out the dance party changeup around 5:20 - love it!)
Lizzie gave us the story on how they met and were engaged: "We met seven years ago at a music festival he was performing at in Orlando but just remained acquaintances. I moved away for two years but never forgot him. When I moved back to Florida I revisited the church where he and I used to attend. I saw him and we'd both lost a substantial amount of weight and there was an immediate attraction. After the service I really wanted some excuse to talk to him and lucky me, the pastor had the church do a prayer walk. I made my way over to him and said 'hey drummer boy'... the rest is history.
"Harry asked me to marry him on my birthday. It was a 90's theme cosmic bowling party. After we finished bowling and were making our way back home my girlfriend stalled me from arriving home while my place was being decorated with flowers and candles. I finally get home and I open the door to all my closest friends each holding one of my favortie flowers in a candle lit room. One at a time they gave me their flower and recited a reason Harry was in love with me. Finally it was harry's turn, he bend on one knee and told me he can't imagine life without me and proposed. I just screamed and he then asked "is that yes?!" I laughed and said of course!
"Our wedding day didn't go without a hitch but it was perfect. Advice to brides to be, don't sweat the small stuff. Enjoy each moment and savor the day. The memories are priceless and so worth it. "
We couldn't agree more! Congrats, Lizzie and Harry - and thank you, Jennifer and Derrek, for sharing your amazing work with us.
