We have such a beautiful engagement session to share with you on this Monday morning, courtesy of the amazing Erika Delgado. The scenery is fantastic (from the gorgeousness of Tree Tops Park to an ice cream truck by the beach!), the photography is dreamy, and the couple is adorable... of course, it doesn't hurt one bit that they're Gators. Browsing through the session, I really got the sense of how fun their little day with Erika must have been. Enjoy the lovely, and Happy Monday!
Erika tells us, "Kristen & Dan met in Gainesville, FL while going to college at UF. They are huge gator fans, friendly and relaxed and most importantly totally in love! Kristen grew up right near Tree Tops Park where we shot first that day. They brought along their dog Gator, he was quite the little model, if I must say so myself! The park provided the beautiful earthy scenery that their wedding will entail as well. They plan on having a very organic/rustic wedding including burlap, an old vintage typewriter, and beautiful greens and blue earth tones. The locations that we shot in were meant to tie this concept in as well as their unique and playful personalities.
"Kristen is from South Florida and her and Daniel love the beach, so she knew she wanted some element of the ocean and blue tones involved in the session as well. This part of the shoot was inspired by the simplicity of Daniel's suspenders and her adorable Vintage dress from Urban Outfitters. Of course it was a total plus when we ran into the ice-cream truck!
"I'll never forget at the end of the shoot, I took out the chalkboards and said to them 'Is there a song, a special line, or something that you guys say to each other that is really meaningful and special?' Before I could finish, they were both looking at each other and saying 'Yea... we say, I love you to the moon and back'. I just loved that moment and I will never forget it. They are both just entirely on the same page and so in love, I'm SO excited to shoot their wedding in April!"
