Don't you love the idea of an engagement session at the fair? The games, the rides, the people, and all that nostalgia make for an overwhelming amount of cute photo opportunity. When I first took a peek at this adorable shoot from Jonathan Scott of JSPStudio I knew it would be smile-inducing... but then I read Orit and Daniel's engagement story and it became even sweeter.
Daniel and Orit met briefly about a year ago at a friend's get-together, and made an initial connection based on many common friends (including Orit's brother). But it wasn't until six months later that they reconnected, this time online, and began dating.
As Orit told us, "Since we met online, it was only appropriate to make it official online. Daniel proposed on Facebook. Every night when I get home I usually check my facebook on the couch on my laptop. Daniel waited until I grabbed my laptop and then went in the other room and posted on my wall.

Adorable, right? If you'd asked me yesterday if I thought a Facebook proposal would be romantic, I'm pretty sure I would have said no; but now I'd think differently. It's all about showing how well you know your partner, and Daniel knew exactly the right thing to do for Orit. Being able to instantly read the messages of your family and friends (and have them saved forever to look back on) is pretty amazing... and I bet everyone was over-the-top excited to be a part of it in "real time"!
We also asked Orit how the planning was coming along: "Planning a wedding and juggling a full time job has not been easy, but it has been fun! It's fun to do things we would never be doing together, like cake tasting, listening to bands and picking out our wedding music. I cannot wait to celebrate this special day with all of our family and friends, but most important to become husband and wife!"
