View-Masters from PhotoNotions Photography

When I first met Tracey-Ann and Martin of PhotoNotions Photography, they were showing off their custom View-Masters... and I squealed in delight (really, I did). How amazingly perfect would it be to have your engagement pics all adorably wrapped up in an old-school View-Master, ready for your wedding guests to click through on the big day?

When Tracey-Ann and Martin came across the View-Masters, they knew instantly that it would be the perfect treat to offer their clients. As Tracey-Ann tells us, "Back in or around 2003 while we were brainstorming to come up with a name for our photography company, we finally decided on PhotoNotions because my vision of what I wanted to do didn't stop at just photography. Our desire is to take little snippets of their passions and personalities and create something new with each client, in each session. In my mind, photography is for always. It's a window through which we get a glimpse of the past. How sweet is it to have those creative images of yourself at those special life moments in useful items that everyone can enjoy? We found a company that still makes view-masters, and we were like, wow! How awesome would it be to offer these to our clients? They signify everything we love: playful, old skool and just plain cool."

"One of our favorite things to shoot is a proposal. We get contacted by the groom for the secret mission of capturing his proposal to his beloved. We love the anticipation of this kind of event and really enjoy being on stealth mode while capturing the magic. We think it would be a nifty idea for a groom to have us create a custom view-master of him actually popping the question. I can just imagine an unknowing bride in a picturesque location, getting a little gift wrapped box and opening it to see a view-master. At first she'd be like, huh? But then... when she looks inside and clicks the shutter... VIOLA!!! OMGosh!!! Shrieks of joy and surprise... yeah, that would be awesome."
