Announcement: We’re Expanding!

Over the past few months, we've been working on something pretty darn exciting... and we're so happy to be able to share it with you today!

Over the past year, we've often featured weddings, engagements and photo shoots from regions outside of South Florida. But as of today, we've finally expanding our Vendor and Venue Guide to be able to include all the fresh, creative, stylish vendors and venues in the state. Although we've already added some seriously amazing resources to the guide, we're just getting started - so bear with us as we expand and improve!

And to celebrate our expansion...

The Road Trip

We've decided the only way we can be true to our roots as we expand the guide is to see and experience it all in person... so, from July 23-27, we'll making a whirlwind tour of the state. We'll be travelling through each region, holding vendor get-togethers, visiting venues and vendors, documenting our progress and sharing it with you all week! Stay tuned for more info as we work out all the details, but here's a peek at our schedule:

Monday, July 23: We'll start our trip in the North, holding a vendor get-together in Jacksonville/St. Augustine.

Tuesday, July 24: Next, we'll head on down the Panhandle, with a get-together in Pensacola.

Wednesday, July 25: Then comes a long jaunt down to the west coast into Central Florida, where he'll host an event in St. Pete Beach.

Thursday, July 26: Finally, we'll head on down the coast to the Southwest region for a get-together in Naples.

Whew! It's going to be a crazy, driving- and party-filled week - and we couldn't be more excited! Have any suggestions for places we should visit and people we should meet? Let us know, we'd love to hear!

A new addition

And finally, a little bit of news we're probably the most excited about. We have a new addition to our team!

Remember the fabulous Desiree of Desiree Dawn Events? Well, we loved her so much that we went and made her a part of our team. Her planning skills and knowledge of the Florida wedding field have already been invaluable over the past few weeks as we expand the guide, and her help couldn't have come at a better time... so it's safe to say that we're beyond happy to have her onboard. She's now a co-editor along with Rebecca and I, so please give her a warm welcome! (And yes, we're working on getting some fab pics of all three of us together.)
