Yup, I love pretty much everything about this stunning engagement session. A vintage train, a gorgeous couple, the perfect attire, hair and makeup... and the photographic style to capture it just right. I gasped just a little when I opened up this gem at The Gold Coast Railroad Museum from PS Photography... it's just so beautifully different than what we usually see here in Florida!
From the ladies at PS Photography: Maritza and Kevin wanted a very unique session that played on their personalities and love. After talking a bit about locations, style, etc, we decided on a vintage train scene. And, when she showed up with her amazing era-appropriate attire, she looked just breathtaking. And, Kevin in his 3 piece suit and fedora... pure perfection!
Maritza told us the story of how they met and were engaged: Kevin and I met 9 years ago at a fraternity party at Florida International University the summer of 2003. I had a friend that was trying to join the fraternity which Kevin was already a member of, and we were introduced there. We instantly fell for each other, but as luck would have it, I had to move to Gainesville a few weeks after meeting him since I was leaving to college at UF in the fall. After an interesting start, we officially started dating November 3rd, 2003.
Nine years later, we have been through so much together, college, law school, grad school, long distance relationship for 2 years, and many many adventures. After graduating law school, Kevin proposed to me July 1st, 2011 at our favorite restaurant, Anacapri in Coral Gables. It was definitely a surprise! I thought it was just an everyday outing for some delicious Italian food.
The couple married in May at Comber Hall; says Maritza: We finally got married 2 weeks ago on May 19th, and have been so blessed to have Patty from PS Photography as our photographer. She is amazing! I am definitely looking forward to our wedding photos.
