Happy Monday, y'all! This is a big, BIG week for us, and we can't wait to get it started! Rebecca, Desiree and I hopped into the SUV this morning and headed north on '95 towards our first regional destination: North Florida. We'll be tweeting and updating Facebook throughout the day, so we hope you'll follow along!
Where We'll Be Going
We'll be leaving Palm Beach bright and early, and we'd love to have some time to stop by the beautiful Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. Do you remember Lauren and Tyler's perfectly amazing Gators-meet-Southern-Charm wedding from Details Flowers & Photography that we featured earlier this year? Sigh... still one of my all-time faves.
Once we get into St. Augustine, we'll be heading to The Floridian for lunch. The name alone would make it worth it, right? But we've been dying to check out their locally-focused cuisine (not to mention the Speakeasy across the way)... and report back to you, of course! We've been told this little gem is the perfect place for a delish, laid-back rehearsal dinner or shower.
Then we'll make a stop at Bath Junkie for a fun bunch o' gifts and giveaways we have up our sleeve - more on that later - and to indulge in a little girliness. And we'll take as much time as we can to explore downtown St. Augustine!
Finally, we'll be heading over to the beach and our venue for our first vendor get-together of the trip: The Reef. With a stunning ocean views and the perfect toes-in-the-sand location, we think The Reef is the perfect mix of beauty and ease for your big day. We can't wait to take the tour, meet the crew, and mix and mingle with our area Floridian Weddings vendors. (Vendors: will we be seeing you there tonight? Our North Florida Co-Hosts
While we're excited to meet each and every one of our Floridian Weddings vendors in the North, we especially can't wait to meet Ashley and Greg of Brooke Images! We've been big, big fans from the very beginning (remember this gorgeous and fun Fernandina engagement session?) and they've been so sweet in helping us reach out to area pros during the trip planning. Oh, and the wedding they captured that we'll be featuring later this afternoon... just stunning.
