From the wise words of Michael Scott, "Webster's Dictionary defines wedding as, 'the fusing of two metals with a hot torch'. Well you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals."
Our bride, Danielle, explains how she and her groom's love story first started, "Jonathan and I met through a mutual friend who had mentioned to me [that] he had a friend who looked like Steve Carell. Being a huge fan of The Office, I had to meet this guy! We all met up together at comedy show a few weeks later and the rest is history! We are best friends and love being silly together."
Jonathan and Danielle were married this March at a beautifully restored Spanish Farmhouse in Winter Park. The Casa Feliz boasts, "original Spanish roof tiles and whitewashed century-old bricks... a turret, a bell tower and a heavy timber balcony detailed in colors of the Mediterranean... lush landscaping--courtyards and sweeping oaks, and native plants...". In short, it is a stunning venue for our Central Floridians! True to their style, K&K Photography tells the story of this wedding not only with soft portraiture, but also with descriptive details of the venue itself. I love that about them.
I'm pretty sure this brick pathway is a photographers dream. Soft natural light, contrasting brick from floor to ceiling, and perfectly shaped arches that create a frame for any picture. Like a pendant on a delicate chain, this is how you hang a Vera!
Just a few finishing touches like a dab of your signature scent and some funky argyle socks are sure to make your beloved swoon.
Once Danielle was ready, she posed under those brick archways for some stunning portraits. I love how her hair cascades down her shoulder and how the light bounces off all those layers of silk on her gown. I think she's ready to see her groom!
These two may be silly together, but their wedding day was nothing but romantic and sweet. In the next series of shots, you'll see Jonathan's anticipation turn to sincere joy! Oh my goodness, how cute are they?
The wedding ceremony took place on the front lawn and it was during this part of their day that the couple recalls one of their favorite moments.
A special moment for us was when our officiant Eddie "The Shaman", who is awesome, had us take a moment at the beginning of our ceremony to look out at all our friends and family with us. It was a special moment to take it all in.
Once again with the swanky romance! Add a few stratigically placed chairs, strike some smokey poses and voila! Insant couture-style wedding party photos. This looks like a fun crew.
While the newlyweds took a stroll throughout the gardens of the farmhouse, their guests sipped on wine paired with yummy bites from Arthur's Catering, who specialize in farm-to-table menus and innovative cuisine.
Our venue was so beautiful and unique on it's own we wanted to play off of that and go with a vintage theme, but we also tied in our love for New York City. We made chocolate lollipops of the Empire State Building as favors and our table names were places in NYC we have been, paired with photos of us in those spots. Our first trip together was to NYC and that is also where we got engaged and had our engagement photos done.

We really loved doing our first dance. We took lessons and did a dance to a special song to us, "The Promise" by When In Rome.
Yup, it's official. I love these two.
After a fabulous night under the stars, this good-humored duo planned a very unique send off. Danielle, in her LWD (Little White Dress) with matching Toms and Jonathan, sans coat, ventured through a valley of colorful balloons! At the end of this dreamlike pathway was a vintage getaway car.
I know these two are on a fun-filled journey together. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. R! We hope you two never stop laughing and dancing to totally awesome 80's tunes.
