GIVEAWAY: Florida Grab Bag!

Okay, it's been a couple months (time flies!) - but we're finally finishing up the recaps, roundups and overall-lovey-dovey posts about our Road Trip. So... why not end it with a bang?

As we were driving all over Florida, we kept an eye out for fun, locally-focused goodies - and a few of our fabulous vendors chipped in with a few of their faves - and this is what we wound up with: a whole bunch of Florida fantasticness, wrapped up in an adorable yellow & white striped beach bag from Cheeca Lodge & Spa, ready to send out to one lucky girl or guy. All added up, it's over $200 worth... and the giveaway is open to everyone!

It's a pretty special and eclectic mix of goodies. On the edible side, we have:

Citrus saltwater taffy from McClain's Gourmet in Sarasota; Orange jelly candy and a trio of marmalades from Dundee Groves; Local gallberry honey from Bobbie-Sue's Country Market in Fairfield; and Papaya Pequin Passion hot sauce from Fat Cat Foods in Orlando. Yum!

Then we have two pretty fabulous books from two pretty fabulous ladies! Shannon of Shannon Reeves Events, one of our fave planners from the Panhandle, gave us a brand new, lovely copy of The Wedding Book by Mindy Weiss, thought of by many as THE wedding bible. Says Shannon, "It's been invaluable to me as a planner and as a bride myself, and I always send a shiny new copy to my girlfriends when they get engaged and it's always very well received."

To round it out, our very own Desiree (who is also the planning genius behind Desiree Dawn Events) supplemented Mindy's book perfectly with The DIY Wedding by Kelly Bare. Between the two books, you'll have advice, tips and tricks for every type of wedding - from small to large, and low budget to sky's the limit.

While we're talking about Shannon, though, can we spend a moment on her pretty, pretty business cards? Blush pink with gold foil... perfection. I just couldn't help grabbing a few shots to show you!

I also obviously couldn't help getting in every shot possible of the next grab bag item - our fabulous little fuchsia heart drink stirrers. We had these made for our Floridian Weddings events, and thought it'd be fun to gift out a set to you, too! There are ten here... enough for a fun little soiree with the girls.

We received another great gift from local printer (including letterpress) Able Printing in West Palm Beach: a set of seriously adorable pug letterpress note cards, with matching orange envelopes! Desiree and I made a visit to check out their studio and presses a few weeks back, and we couldn't be happier to have found a talented, local printer... you'll just adore these little cards. Thanks so much, David!

Next up are two of my favorite picks in the bag. First, the gorgeous 'orangeade' tea towel that we picked up from My Favorite Things in Tallahassee! (I won't lie, I'm having a very hard time giving it up.) The color, the quality, the orange graphics... yea, I'm kinda in love. Oh, and while we were in the store, we couldn't help but grab a fun flamingo greeting card. We're suckers for flamingos!

And finally, there's the sea salt scrub from Bath Junkie that we snapped up in St. Augustine. The scent is 'waves', and it pretty much smells like heaven... and this is the large size, so it will last you a good long while.
