Ahh, Cafe Lurcat. I'm not sure we could have planned a better ending to our Road Trip than the vendor get-together we had at this amazing gem of a restaurant on Fifth Avenue South in Naples.
We were admittedly already a little giddy after our arrival in Naples (after four days in the car, and the bliss of a little R&R at the Ritz, who can blame us?), but when we walked into the restaurant and were greeted by the gorgeous interior and friendly, capable team, we knew it was going to be special evening.
If I was planning my wedding all over again, this is exactly where I'd be having it. Really. The upstairs dining room is just stunning... from the old world painted ceiling to the modern, luxe furnishings, it has that delicate balance of feeling airy and open while still being intimate and cozy.
There's also a lovely little patio in the front, where your guests can peek out onto Fifth Avenue (or enjoy a glass of vino al fresco, like we did). And Chef Andrew's cuisine... well, it's definitely the main attraction.
And when I say main attraction, I mean the kind of food your guests will be talking about at other people's weddings for years afterwards ("remember the food at so-and-so's wedding?")... yup, it will knock your socks off. From the tuna tartare to the tomato tart - and so many other bits of goodness they shared with us! - managers Daniel and Jeff really gave us and our amazing group of Naples-area vendors the royal treatment. And with the variety of their wine list setting the menu off perfectly, we were pretty much in heaven!
If you're getting married in Naples, you're pretty much in vendor and venue heaven... we met some seriously talented (and fun!) pros, and we're so glad they came out to share the evening with us. And big, huge, best-night-ever hugs to the team at Cafe Lurcat for making us feel so welcome. We loved it so much, we just had to stay for dinner... and maybe a few beverages. Who can blame us?
Believe us when we say: this is a must-see place if you're venue hunting in Naples!
