We loved Dressing the Groom so much that we wanted to show you all of the fabulously fashionable past-brides with style in Florida, too! Get ready for some breathtaking looks from these ladies...
THE VINTAGE BRIDE
For the gal that loves antique and consignment shopping, this look is for you! There are lots of new gowns that have a vintage flair, but there is nothing quite like wearing your mother's gown or re-creating a look from part of her gown. Think antique ivory for color and silvered or bronzed beading. Accessories like birdcage veils and pin-curls will complete this look.
THE PREPPY BRIDE
Preppy looks are so Palm Beach, thanks to Lilly Pulitzer! Bright color combos of pink and green with crisp white gowns make this look perfect for summer or spring. Try classic A-lines and structured fabrics. Wedding gowns with pockets are a total win!
THE OFFBEAT BRIDE
When this bride walks down the aisle, everyone is stunned. She is the girl that can pull off dark and moody accessories with dramatic details on her gown. Offbeat doesn't necessarily mean black details, however, how great is that jeweled bouquet and those fabulous shoes? For the extra-edgy bride, why not a black tea-length number and fuschia pumps!
THE BEACHY BRIDE
This is one look that can be different from coast-to-coast. Some beach brides want a light and airy gown with no train. Others still want the extravagance of a classic ballgown and I say, "Why not?". This is your one chance to have your dream wedding while wearing your dream dress! A key point here is to be mindful that stilettos don't do well in soft sand. So, wear beautiful sandals at your oceanside nuptials, of course!
THE CLASSIC BRIDE
Ahhh...le sigh. A beautifully soft, ivory wedding gown. Lots of tulle and movement. Just the right amount of beading. A cathedral length veil. Timeless and perfect. Enough said.
SOMETHING OLD, NEW, BORROWED & BLUE
When accessorizing for your big day, some brides follow the something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue rule of thumb. Katie used her mother's wedding veil as her something old and loved that this accessory from a few decades back still looked great with her new Vera Wang gown. Michelle's gorgeous engagement ring was her something new, as most rings are for brides. One of Jenna's bridesmaids let her borrow another friend's diamond bracelet that held a lot of meaning for both of them. And Amy's funky blue heels by her favorite designer became her signature blue item and I just love them!
