Friday Fresh Squeeze: Across the Pond

on by in Updates & Roundups

Happy Friday everyone! Springtime is beginning to appear in London, yippee! It was a long winter here in England and with the flowers beginning to bloom outside, I cannot wait to see sunshine again soon. I have had a busy but certainly fun week of looking at wedding venues and dresses in London and am starting to get really excited about next Summer! In the meantime, I'm taking this morning to enjoy a cup of joe, relax and browse around and enjoy the Friday Fresh Squeeze. I hope you do as well! Cheers! xoxo

WHAT WE'RE LOVING THIS WEEK

A couple of months ago we were so lucky to have two dear friends of ours and Florida photographers visit our flat in London. Michelle snapped a few photos of Frans and I around London that I will cherish forever - only a couple of months engaged and living across the pond! See more London Love pics below.

I truly think that this advice is priceless: hire a wedding planner, it is worth every penny to enjoy your day every bit more!

Oh how adorable is this 'non' first look with temporary tattoos? We are loving it!

I can't get enough of these simple, gorgeous, stunning wedding cakes.

Thinking of cutting out the wedding video from your budget? Read this post.

Aren't these pictures so sweet that Jessica captured of one of our South Florida photographers/brides?! Gorgeous.

I am absolutely speechless after seeing this couple's ceremony site... so so so beautiful.

Oh how I am longing for an engagement party Al Fresco, just like this wedding.

MORE ACROSS THE POND ENGAGEMENT PICS...

There is something I absolutely love about being photographed with your fiance in the city you live in. By chance, my Beau and I are living in a city with some major photography worthy spots around town for perfect engagement shots. I had to share a few of my faves, including some images of us around London, newly engaged.

St. James Park, in front of Buckingham Palace and Whitehall {where the Olympic volleyball took place}, provided a perfect backdrop during a cold and chilly day out in the city. Michelle was quite patient with us waiting for groups of tourists to walk by during our pictures.

This couple titled their wedding theme 'A London Affair'! Doesn't this gorgeous image say it all! I love the bride to be in her white ensemble and her groom looking out onto the London Eye.

I have gotten to know the sweet and talented Kylee from Kytography and was excited to share these adorable engagement pictures she recently shot in the South Bank area of London during the Christmas season. Doesn't the backdrop look like they are in a movie?

Caroline Joy captured this couple in front one of the most known buildings in England, the Big Ben! I love the lighting and love how on a busy bridge in the middle of the city, it looks as if it's just the two of them.

Even if you don't live in a city with as many monumental photo ops as we have here, your local town is still full of monumental areas that you as a couple have been to and enjoyed together - why not capture your images there?

Enjoy the weekend everyone! I will be back next month with a little bit more from Across the Pond.
