When it comes to planning a wedding, there is so much to consider. You may even feel overwhelmed by everything you need to remember. However, it does not need to be stressful, even if you have decided to plan the day yourself, instead of enlisting the help of a wedding planner.

My name is Mia Taylor, and I’ve been a professional wedding planner for the last 5 years. When I married my husband Jason, back in 2015, I decided to plan the wedding myself, instead of hiring a wedding planner, as a way of saving money.

While it was challenging at first, I enjoyed planning and event organizing. As a result, I chose to make a career from wedding planning and haven’t looked back. Having experienced the difficulty of finding the perfect wedding venue in Florida myself, and deciding which traditions to use, I decided to share my experience and knowledge with others.

I have set up FloridianWeddings.com as an extension of my job and my passion for event planning and weddings, to help couples plan their perfect day. Having worked across this state, I have gained a great knowledge of niche and beautiful venues to consider, and nothing compares to a wedding on the majestic beaches of Florida.
